Randy Answers Fan Questions

08.05.09 - Allison
There's a new interview with Randy on RockPaperShotgun where he answers questions from the community.  Enjoy answers to burning questions like "Should we buy the Xbox or PC version of Borderlands? What, if anything, is different between them," "Does he think grimy, brown, 'realistic' style visuals still hold value, or should everyone be experimenting?" and "Who'd win in a fight: Brick (Borderlands) or Heavy Weapons Guy (TF2)?"

Gamesxtreme Borderlands Feature

08.03.09 - Allison

Gamesxtreme has posted a really great Borderlands preview!   Thanks to everyone picking up the game and helping us get the word out!

"I know I’m onto something special when I read about Randy and the other developers being surprised by the things they find. So, it’s when a game can constantly surprise the developers making it, with new weapons and things that they didn’t expect, that’s the mark of a good and fun game."

Borderlands on RockPaperShotgun

08.03.09 - Allison

More Borderlands preview articles are coming out left and right.  RockPaperShotgun have posted their impressions of the game!

"But unlike Fallout 3 and Mass Effect and Hellgate, this isn’t an FPS-like targeting reticule built awkwardly on top of dice-rolls and statistics. It’s statistics and dice-rolls built on top of a first-person shooter. That simple inversion is key to why Borderlands works – this is an action game first and foremost."
