The third Aliens Infestation Developer Diary has been posted at AvPGalaxy, offering some insight into the individual marines that players are able over the course of the game:

Meet Patton, a home-assembled CL4P-TP unit sent in by Aaron d.
"We built this from scraps as an afternoon of 'arts and crafts' time," the proud father explained. "It was actually a family affair: Jillian (10), Ryleigh (8), Asher (6). We found a Lego piece that said 'P-A7-70N' so we've of course named him 'Patton.'"
