Uber IT Guru with emphasis on Networking
Gearbox's IT Department is looking for an experienced IT Administrator with a solid understanding of LAN and WAN infrastructure within a corporate environment.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities will revolve around day to day maintenance, upkeep of infrastructure, and deployment of new servers, appliances, and services. This position will require you to be on call 24/7 for after hour needs and may include some heavy lifting of equipment.
- Advanced knowledge of a mixed OS environment is a must.
Required Skills:
- Firewall Administration (PIX, ASA, and BSD flavours)
- IP Routing and Optimization
- Switch and Router Configuration (Cisco and HP ProCurve)
- Both Linux and Windows Administration and Deployment
- FTP Services
- MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS-SQL
- Web Services (Apache, TomCat, nginx)
- Active Directory Domain Administration and GPO Management
- DNS both Windows and Bind, and DHCP Services
- Printing Services
- Scripting via VBscript, PowerShell, etc.
- WSUS
Desired Skills:
- Exchange 2007
- Perforce
- NAS and SAN management
- Monitoring of heterogeneous environments.
