Focus Test Coordinator
Position: Full-Time

Gearbox Software is looking for a Focus Test Coordinator to assist in coordination of focus test sessions and recruiting of individuals to test our upcoming titles. Job will last approximately 6 – 9 months. We need team players who know how to communicate well, are very enthusiastic about video games (especially first-person shooters), and who are well-versed in games for all modern console systems and current PC Windows technology.
Required Skills:
- Be able to work a full 40-hour week during core work hours and have flexibility to work overtime when needed
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Warm and friendly and comfortable approaching and talking to strangers
- Know basic Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Be able to effectively use web-based bug tracking software
- Be passionate about action, strategy and tactics in games
- Must be able to travel locally and attend events off-site
- Be at least 18 years of age with a high school degree
- Live in or near Plano, Texas (north Dallas) - relocation will not be provided
Desired Skills:
- Previous game testing experience
- Background in Psychology, Market Research, and/or stats
